Milled primary rail with stock primary injectors?

Hey guys,

I had my primary fuel rail milled to accept the stock secondary 850cc injectors. Since then, I've decided to stick with the stock 550cc injector in the primary rail to avoid idle issues. Given that I've already had the stock rail milled down, can I still use the stock 550's, or will they end up sticking down too far? Do I need to get another primary rail? Anyone done this?

- Andy

can't answer your question, however my gut reaction is "no." I can provide you with a stock primary rail for 50 bucks.

Yes, the rail will still receive the 550 injectors; however, you will need to space the cover up with a couple of small washers on each side as the injectors don't seat all the way on a milled rail. It otherwise works fine. Be sure and lube the o-rings when you put the injectors in.
