13bRE, 13bREW?

Will the 13bre jap motor bolt onto all of the accessories, ecu, tranny, etc. of a 13brew american motor? I blew mine, and am looking for a cheap replacement.

thanks,

rob

I think that the 13B-RE is a bolt in replacement for the FC3S, not the FD3S. From my understanding, the 13B-RE has the same secondary port sizes as the 13B-REW, but the motor mounts will only bolt into the cosmo or the 13BT.

...I'm think so...IGY...Rutt, care to chime in?

The motor itself are the same, or so it looks. They mount in the rear like the FD so your OK there... The upper intake looks different its ports are bigger than the FD, but the turbos dont flow as good. But if you strip it down to the basic block you will be ok or as far as I can tell. I have one apart!
