What flywheel are you using on your RE motor? How do the intake port match up with a S5 motor? Have'nt had a chance to open one yet.
thanks

I am using a Racing Beat 17# flywheel with the Cosmo Counterweight.

The intake ports are vastly different. Even the mounting studs/bolts won't line up. They Cosmo ones are much taller. I had to have my Intake made at the time (for the blow-through).

Luis on the board (with the Blue widebody) has a Cosmo upper intake on his car, with an adapter between the Cosmo Upper and S5 Lower intake.

What are the advantages of an FD TT motor over an FC T2? There's generally a huge price difference.

Also, I have a '76 Rotary PU motor (13B 4-port), and I want to go turbo. Am I better off just getting a new motor, or can I swap in some low compression rotors, perform a water jacket mod and be happy with the results?

My goal is 400 RWHP.

BTW -- I realize there's a lot more to the conversion, but one step at a time . . .
