13b Turbo powered kit car

hi
does anyone here read Sport Compact Car magazine? if so does anyone remember the kit car that was powered by a 450 hp turbo 3rd gen 13b that was among the choices to be in their Ultimate Streetcar Challenge? if so could you give me any info that you might have on the car (name, manufacturer)? i searched but came up empty handed. thank you in advance.

I saw that too. That thing (although not very attractive) was PIMP! I'd also like to see more info on it.

If only I had the money....., then it would be open season on Lingenfelter and Hennessey. 600hp at ~1600lbs?! What fun could be had. I have got to see the results from the challenge, whenever its done, if it hasn't been done already. Josh

ummm, 600 hp and 1600 lbs would rape lingenfelter AND hennessey. absolutely RAPE.

That much hp, and that heavy..... hell, it could probably compete with CART cars! (I dunno about how it handles, though )

Where did the 600 hp number come from? According to the NY auto show site (http://www.autoshowny.com/ ), it has 450 hp ("The VIKING SRX-7, developed by Laminar Concepts, made its premiere in NY, its neo-retro styling is a blend of British Lotus Super Seven and American open wheel racecar, combined with a 450 HP Mazda turbocharged rotary engine and driveline made this one hot vehicle with the crowd."). Just wondering who is wrong here.

Careful, post resurrection in progress

There is an option for a 20b turbo instead of a 13b turbo, the 20b is the one with 600hp.
