after 10 years the FD still schools everything
I just saw one of the new 350Z's on the highway today,
and I must say the FD is still #1 in my book(when done right ).
The one I saw was blue,
the car is pretty cool, and the concept is really very cool and "fresh". But I dunno, it just doesnt seem all that great once you see it on the road.
It seemed a bit cheesy, and plasticy, I even noticed
that the bumper paint didnt match the rest of the car!!
Course I havent seen a silver one up close yet,
and i'm guessing that and black are probably the best colors.
But still, for a car that is oh so similar to the FD,
i'll take an rx7 any day.
just my $.02

I saw one yesterday, too. It's a nice car, but still doesn't flow like the body of an FD IMHO. Even with the stock 16s, it looks fairly new. With 17s or 18s, I've known people to think it just came off the show room floor.

We have a guy with one at my office. The interior is pretty tight, very nice fit and finish. As for the outside ,am I the only one that thinks it looks like a facet cut Audi TT ? which looks like a Boxer . Its deffinatly a nice ride but the shape isnt anyhting we havent seen before . But the FD flows , the curves cant be beat.I have a 94 and get asked regularly what kind of car it is and they all think its a 2002 model. The RX7 like many of the classics will never look outdated .

FD
I work on my car in my driveway - and I hate it, because it never fails - I always have at least 2-3 people stop their car and come over and ask me what it is, what year, blah blah.... I guess I cant say I hate it

I saw a silver one this week. I tought I would want one real bad after seening one, but I must say I just glanced at it at first (I thought it was an audi TT) but then I noticed it was a littel bigger.......I still love they 7's style. I think they shoulda put a better rear spoiler on it.....it's just a little lip.

mclaren, ferrari, and porsche have got nothin on the fd
you take things too serious man.
Anyways, did anyone notice the interior of the z is
the same as the fd, shape wise. I know its finished and styled totaly differently.
but its low buckets, short shifter where you have to rest your elbow on the center dash.
and the guage cluster is exactly the same
anyhoo, I guess I just miss my FD
oh well, i'll have another one of these days, (i hope)

First off, I was just busting your *****.
Secondly, I have seen the Z's and I think they look better in person than in pictures. They leave a lot to be desired but they are not too bad.
Thirdly, what happened to yours?
