13B rebuild

hey, where can i find a rebuild kit for my 13b? i dont want to spend $600+ for the dealer... anyone know any sites? thanks -Clay

I hate to say it, the master rebuild kit is around $1000. If your objective is to save money, you are barking up the wrong tree.

overall did the entire kit look good?? did you get the basic kit or the master kit??

from the looks of it the master kit comes with the oil pump chain and the basic does not.

Look closer, the basic does not include:

Corner Seal (12)
Side Seal (12)
Oil Pump Chain
Rotor Oil Seal Set

do yourself a favor and buy the videos as well. i gaurentee that they are worth their weight in gold if you are doing it yourself for the first time

i second that!! those two videos, the R&R of the FD and the 13b overhaul video will make your life so much easier. the 13b overhaul video is very indepth, step by step shows how to disassemble the 13b, clean everything, how to make every single measurment and how to put it all back together.

i can't wait to get my grubby little hands on the video. I just ordered it this weekend. Do you guys suggest the R & R video? (I would think that is pretty straight forward if you've ever removed and engine and have the shop manual)
