13b-re and 13b-rew same front plates?

hey i am bout to buy a rad but it's made for the fd engine 13b-rew but i have a 13b-re are they the same front covers as in where the coolant goes in and out of the rad. will the rad work with my re engine the reasoni ask here is beacuse i have a second gen but a re engine in it. any info would be good thanks

to my knowlage the differance is in the porting. The front plats should be the same

lmfao...if the porting is different and the porting is IN the front plate, wouldn't that make the front plates different?

Either way, the FD radiator has the inlet on the top/passenger side and the outlet at the bottom middle. Since your using a different engine, did you use the FC water pump housing? If you did then NO. I'm almost 99% certain the FC and the RE have the same water pump housing location.

I also highly doubt you would be able to use a stock radiator hose for what you are doing. Just make your own.
