I am consistantly seeing a peek duty cycle of 80.XX% at 15 psi. KD has me tuned to a mid 11 AFR.
Isnt that a high injector duty cycle given that i am running 1300cc. What are those of you who ar running 1300cc injs seeing for a peek? Please list boost and duty.

You can play with the numbers here, but be aware that the BSFC, fuel pressure, drivetrain losses, etc. can change the numbers a fair amount. Some of these are difficult to estimate accurately.

i was just curious as to what other people are seeing...i thought i read some people saying they were seeing 50% duty at 15 psi....thats way different.

 

also,curious...on your site u list the stock ecu maxes out at 63%..how did u record that...that seems very low to me.

 

Matty, you added approx 25% more fuel than stock with the 1300s. Stock injectors will be at 100% duty cycle at 15 psi so your 80% seems right on. I don't know who was running 50% duty cycle at 15 psi with 1300s and, unless they have raised the fuel pressure significantly, they won't be running it for long.

thats correct but you've got those 550s pumping away also.

 

good answer Marshall....whoever was claiming 50% at 15 psi will be posted questions about a rebuild soon. 80% sounds about right.

The highest I have ever seen my injectors are at like 88% according to my powerfc. I am tuned mid-high 11's for the important parts.

Generally I never see the 80's and I run around 14.5 psi regularly.
