13 Brew question.
Alright, I'm very interested in Rotary engines and I'm trying to put together some concret information on them. I've done some searching and there is so much un informative or mis conceptive information out there its crazy.
My questions are concerning the 13BREW * FD * engine.
Now I understand they cause hastle. I do know the main problems they have are overheating this is about the extent of my knowledge.
If you guys could answer some of my questions either in this thread or pm that would be fantastic, and if you know of anybody else on beyond whom knows allot about rottaries or has lots of experience with them forward him my way aswell!!.
My general question is What problems do Rotary engines encounter, and when people say there a nightmare and allways break down what usually happens to them??
Next question, If you were to buy an FD and the engine is so far in decent condition is it possible to Build the engine up so its stronger and is more reliable - less chance of running into there usual problems -
Example, could you buy Aftermarket parts so the engine has less of a chance of over heating?? "
or could you strengthen the internals so the engine has less of a chance of giving up pre - maturely?
If so What aftermarket engine parts can you buy to increase the durability of the rotary so its more reliable and stronger then the stock 13BREW you once had.
so if some of you can help me out that would be fantastic.
