Question 12 psi boost with clogging cat possible??

I have just over 100k miles on my FD and the only piece of factory exhaust is my main cat. I do get 12 psi. of boost but was wondeing if it's possible that my cat may be clogging up. It seems to spool up fairly quick however, I did notice after driving another Friend's FD that his spooled up quicker. He did have an efini Y-pipe and aftermarket Flywheel. Wadyu' think 'bout that?

Was it a lightweight flywheel? If so I think that may have accounted for some of the difference as the motor should rev a bit quicker with it and thus make boost a little quicker.

Yeah, it sure was. So, I guess it was that and his efini y-pipe that allowed him to spool and rev up quicker
