11.9 @117mph !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With slicks it is not a problem for the level of power I am running. They absorb the "impact" if you will.
how do slicks "absorb" impact?? if anything, they ACCENTUATE the impact to your driveline!
And I would heat tehm up pretty good. Maybe a upgraded clutch. But the axles and diff are o.k. for now.
11s on slicks, stock twins, and stock driveline/frame = very short life at the dragstrip....based on a long history of people before you trying to drag race this car, and breaking parts left and right
you are playing russian roulette with your wallet, but I guess you have money to burn....hopefully good ol Petah has a few extra PPF's and axles laying around

your theory is not too far from true, but think, rikki IS only boosting 11psi. that is not too much work for the t'bo's.....
a wrinkle wall type slick WILL absorb what is shock or generally referred to as wheel hop or abnormal susp. travel, they WILL however, place more stress on the axle shafts and differential......
I am sorry you have to get tuned by PFS to get the Secret Sauce.......
Either way, good run!

LOL!
Some of you guys act as if you have never seen an FD do 11s with the stock twins. I know a guy that was pulling 11.6 on ported motor, typical mods, and running the sequential system at 14.5psi on an M2 ECU.
I'm just saying there is more than one way of getting into the 11s. It's all just a matter of what works for you and what makes your
comfy
Oh congrats Rikki

wtf: if he'd photochopped that timeslip, would he have left his awful (hehe rikki) Reaction Time stand?
And I'm not hating on ///M Power. I'm hating on people like you, the same kind of people that give dre-2000 **** for his killstories.
He's got the horsepower, he's got the traction, he's got driver skill, and he's got Peter ******* Farrell, for god's sake. I think he's good to go, Mike.

How many hours was Peter tuning your FD?
Wow.. at 12 psi... Imagine what it would have been at 14-15 psi..
Anyways, congrats on the run. 11.9 is good, it's been done by other people on stock twins in the past just at a higher psi. Now get yours dialed in at a higher psi so you can drop those ET's even more..
