Nice run !!!

Hey Rikki,

Great run. I just looked at your 60ft time. You can make a LOT of improvements there....If you can get your 60ft time down from a 1.8 to 1.5-1.6 you will run low 11s.

If you then run some more boost or just throw a set of gears in, I think you will be only stock twin car in the 10s!!!!!!!

Good luck!!!

Anthony

Ryan, when are you going single? I thought the twins were only for the break-in period Great run non-the-less

Damn, do you really launch at 7500 rpm's? Have you upgraded your differential and axles? Quite frankly, I am afraid to leave the hole much above 4K. When I get a chance, I'll post one of my 1/8 mile runs on drag radials. Similar 60ft. but you're 3 mph faster through the 1/8. Then again, I'm in S. Florida and running more boost than you are (13psi). Congrats on the 11's.

Hrm...wonder if I'd be safe with my BFG drag radials then...I've added the M2 trailing/toe links (which DO eliminate wheel hop when your shocks are installed correctly, don't ask :-). Perhaps I'll try something a bit higher. I bog off the line almost every time when I run drag radials. I'm only in the 330-340rwhp range.

The slicks will lower the MPH so figure 119 MPH if this run was on street tires. The difference in ET between slicks/streets is all in the 60' time. His 1.87 60' time is slower than what most guys running slicks are capable of. I've seen guys run High 1.8's low 1.9's on street tires. I've seen mid 1.6's with slicks, so if he was getting the best possible traction on the best possible launch he could actually run an 11.5 on the slicks.

at least half a second off of the time... plus, the full slicks will allow a higher launch w/o the worry of spinning....

Forgot to add this to my previous post You've got more ***** than me to drop the clutch at 7.5K. I've seen Peter do it repeatedly at MIR but who knows what he has for a diff and axle?

Pretty sure Peter uses the stock rearend on all of his cars. Dont quote me on this though. Not sure about the axles.

There is that damn sercret sauce again.
Go for low 11's Ryan before you start shooting for a 10 sec pass.
I would love to see you get that title under your belt though.
10 sec on stock twins
If that wouldn't be bragging rights WTF would be??!!

Below the hood is nothing more than a 1/4 keg of Ryans secret sauce...

Nice 1 ryan. I'm a big fan of the twins, and this has just convinced me to skip the single idea. Fast spools and fast drags, what more could a man ask from his FD!
