10 digit vin decoding
Hey guys I recently bought a rhd rx7 from Saskatchewan but its registered in Alberta and I was wondering if there is a way of decoding the 10 digit vin to find the manufacturer date month and year. Also find out what type of rx7 it is. Is there any carfax reports available for jdm model? Any help is greatly appreciated. My vin is fd3s109541. Thanks again.

Everything in that link only relates to US cars- the whole JMO____ world identifier thing.
He has a RHD JDM car and its VIN begins with FD3S____.
ROA, you will probably have little luck trying to decipher a Japanese VIN in this forum, as it is mostly US based, and their VINs are all JMO____.
I suggest another forum, maybe a Japanese or Australasian one, FDRX7.com or Ausrotary.com.

JDM parts catalog says that FD3S-100001~200000 is an early car, 10/91 to 6/92 production. to go any further you need the other sticker, there should be one in the door jamb with the model number

I'm pretty sure when I looked in door jam there wasn't the usual sticker but if there was one it was written in Japanese. Can I go to mazda dealer for that info?

Bought every JDM book and brochure/catalog I could find....then learnt to extract info from VIN decals and interpret EPC info.
There is much more info available re: JDM FD's on FDRX7.com...tell them I sent you
