Thanks for posting the videos, the flow difference before & after is even more pronounced than in the photos.
Where can I found more info about the zero-clearance side seals?

Hi Aaron,
If you look closely at engine tear-down you will see the leaking paths next to the leading edge of the side seals.
The driven side seals continuously as shown by the right side of the seal in this picture.
The best fix before Zero Clearance was to cut the seals perfectly vertical and in contour to minimize wear-in
(which by adding clearance quickly drops compression and adds blow-by).
But still I found that .004" was about the minimum clearance before binding occurred if the seal was overheated in a hard run.
This is what Zero Clearance Seals looks like after 30K miles... very little carbon with no tracks past the corner/side seal interface.
