1.06 Boost on stock inj./turbos??

OK, I am a searching fool. But other than cold weather, I can't figure this out and am concerned.

Yesterday I installed a PFC w/ Commander. That night after a couple of hours of driving around (getting the PFC to "learn"), I got 1.06 boost (peak hold #) at 82% inj. duty on stock injectors and turbos, no fuel cut! I have PFS intercooler, PFS airbox, downpipe and catback. The max boost setting was .9 (I think...the larger of the two base max boost settings)

Is it safe to occaisonally run this high of boost, even if the inj. are only at 82%?

Does this sound right? BTW, it was about 38 deg. outside.

(I posted this in the PFC forum, but not much reply)

A lot of Power FC users are getting conflicting readings from their boost gauge and Power FC boost reading. At 1.06 bar of boost your inj duty should be maxed.

Turn your car to the ON position w/o starting it. Go to your monitor settings and check the reading with the engine off, then post your results....

I'll check it with the ign. on "ON" tonight. The boost gauge is not much different from the PFC readings. The gauge is hitting 15 psi or so on hard runs.

The original owner had the PFS IC, Intake and exhaust done in Virginia. So, maybe, he had other motor work done (i.e. injectors) at that time. I did not deal directly with the owner, he had it on consignment at Alamo Rotary in San Antonio, which rebuilt his motor 2k miles ago. (BTW, Tito at Alamo has one nice 3-rotor!)

Did the car come with the stock ecu? If it did then the previous owner didn't upgrade the injectors.

sounds like you are pushing it to the max on that 1.06 boost, be safe and upgrade to 1300 cc secondaries and you will be in the clear

Yeah, stock ecu b4. So I'll crank down the boost some to be safe. I want to upgrade to a single T anyway, another reason to get injectors. Hope my wife buys that one! "But, Honey, spending money never felt so good"... doesn't work either.
