Between $3-5k for reliability mods, brake pads, and a racing tires.

 

I'v got about 4K into my car but i have had it only for 6 months and i am still in high school

 

I just got done reading through this entire thread. Wow guys, we spend WAY too much on our cars. hehe

 

yep........................i spent $80,000 the car still runs in the 14 secs! all the money went to the frame/body work, tires, stereo system, smog, registration and tickets.

 

They sure pay paperboys a lot out there....

Bought car this time last year $14000. Drove 3 months, had an O-ring failure, new motor and a list of goodies I couldn't live without this year brings total exspenditure over 30K. (OUCH) Try explaining that to your wife!

Guess I need to drive it more so I can have something else go wrong. Now, 2 years ago, I spent about $7K+ on a rebuild, intercooler, intake, PFC, pads and rotors. Only thing I really need soon is some new tires.

Hasn't been a year yet...i bought the car in August. Okay yes, i included the cost of buying the car...and $5,000 in service maintainence.

you guys are nuts ive had my 93 r1 sence mid 97 and ive mint have 4k in mantance and parts i want driveability so keep the mods to a minium and enjoy the car
