[PICS!] Coolong Parts I got from Japan TODAY! I LOVE THEM!

Just got some cool parts from Japan today. I got some basic cooling parts like thermo, Samco hose, radiator cap and one owesome VFC!

Whereas HKS and Pivot fan controller is just on and off, with this one you can set the temp where you wanna start the fan and where you want it off. You can also adjust the fan speed by 3 different speeds without having to turn on the A/C. The controller is in the shape of a gauge and it shows the current water temp, battery voltage, and oil temp. It also has peak/hold warning function as well. LED blue in the day time black night time!!

So of course I gotta brag about it!! LOL JK well got some pics up too so check them out they are really cool and I've been sighing looking at them lol.

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/coolyu...=/f94c&.src=ph

I want to install it over the weekend and hope they'll keep my car cooler.

Hope link works.

Mind telling us what vendor you used? (assuming it was cheaper than ordering through US based vendors)

Haha I'd like to keep them at least for a while. I like the gauge-shaped VFC it look so cool

I can probably get you a new one. The thing is that since we don't have a vender for this company in the U.S yet,the shipping fee sucks (It's a japanese company that exclusively develop cooloing parts for various applications.)

And of course the all the manual is in Japanese but I can translate it for you.

But anyways, pretty cool upgrade till we all get PFC

OK, im new here.........

Whats a VFC? Very ******* Confusing gauge?

I see the outer ring shows up to 130 with 100 and above in red. 130 what?

Couple little lights. Two digital displays, one looks like water temp.

How much crap can you cram into one gauge?

You pics layout look like a catalog, nice sticker placement.

Not trying to bash you, I just don't know ****.

I'm going to go out on a limb with Variable Fan Controller. However, it's just listed as "fan switch controller" on JT-Import's site. http://www.jt-imports.com/Clearance_Items.htm

It functions as a water temp gauge but it's a fan controller too.

No it's not very f**king confusing gauge lol.

It looks like an ordinary water temp gauge but it does a lot more.

It flashes a red light when the water temp reaches the set temp for warning.

It shows the current water temp digitaly.

It can also show current battery voltage, and oil temp.

You can set the temp where you want to start the fan and where you want to turn it off. (there are 4 bottens on the side of this gauge to do all that. I'll take a picture of this and add to my yahoo photo album)

You can adjust the fan speed slow, mid, fast without having to turn on A/C.

You can also manually turn on the fan at the fastest speed with special circuit adapter. (I'll take a picutre of this too.)

The outer ring shows water temp analog.

I'll post more pics when I actually install this on the car.

Yes you're right they are used ones. I have a friend. He's also a Japanese person he imports rims mainly and I found these advans RGs at his shop so I bought all four for $1100. I like them so far. They are not the lightest but they are pretty light and very strong rims

It's not the same gauge. Mine is a different brand. I never heard of a brand POWER. But that one looks cool too

I had to pay alot of shipping (nearly $100 for all the stuff I got). But that's because I went for air shipping

I'm sure if you go boat it'll be a lot cheaper but then it'll take like 2 months...

about the EFINI parts like the person below said you can easily buy them here in the U.S.

Looks like you're from tokyo too.

Are you a person from the US living in toyko or are you japanese too?

I'm from tokyo too. I was born and raised in Hachioji city. I had a Toyota Mark II Tourer V spec (1JZ Twin turbo) when I was in Japan and used to go to Okutama touge and Odarumi touge, and Miyagase touge for racing all the time. What part of Tokyo are you from? It's cool to see one from same city here on the forum.

Good to meet you!

I see the outer ring shows up to 130 with 100 and above in red. 130 what?

I would assume that's 130 degrees C, since Japan uses the metric system. 100 C =212 F, which is the boiling point of water at standard pressure. 130 C = 266 F, which is just too hot.
