=Apexi Intercooler and Koyo / Fluidyne Radiator Questions=

Hi everyone.

I have 2 questions I want to ask.

You know the A'PEXi GT-Spec Intercooler Kit (the front mount one), I want to know if I can custom make some pipings to make it into a v-mount. If possible please show me a few pics so I can get somebody to do exactly the same thing for me.

Second question is that I wanna buy an intercooler to go with the v-mount A'PEXi GT-Spec intercooler. I think I just have to choose between Koyo and Fluidyne. Just want to know what is the top model for Koyo - is it the Type-Z aluminium one with 53mm? How about Fluidyne does it have different models as well? Because I think Fluidyne one only has a 3xmm core, which is narrower than Koyo, how do you justify Fluidyne being comparable than Koyo? Does capacity more important than thickness?

Many many thanks!!!!

you prob could, but why would you?? the apexi intercooler is very expensive and getting custom made piping is not going to be cheap. i would highly sugest just buying a kit. it should save you a good bit of time and money.

i guess your speaking of a radiator(you said intercooler). the fluidline and the koyo, in my understanding, preform the same. there is a larger 4-row koyo you can get that offers better flow over its counterpart.

hey thx for reply.

well i bought the apexi gt-spec intercooler pretty cheap, its 2nd hand, so its kind of price-driven. anyways i still prefer the v-mount set up so hope to be able to convert that to v-mount.

yeah i really mean radiator not intercooler. oh didn't know there is a 4-row ones. soooo which one u prefer fluidyne / koyo? doesn't really matter?

thx!

i think both the koyo and fluidline 3-row are 30% increase in cooling over the stock radiator. its really just personal preference
