Hey, i was just wondering how much these springs drop the ride height of the car, and also does anyone have these on a street driven car? Are they way too stiff for a street/strip car?? I have the racing beat ones now and they are far from stiff enough, still a lot of body roll. THanks anyone!!!

Hey man, did you ever make it up to NC?
What is your current shock/spring setup? I'm using koni shocks with eibach springs, seems to be a great combo. The eibach's lower the car an inch and stiffen it up over stock. The biggest difference is in the shocks, they are fully adjustable, height and stiffness. I have them set on their lowest setting (20mm drop) and hardest ride. The car has zero body roll if you were to push on it physically, and will not push down at all either. However I can adjust them to turn the car back to a soft stock ride if I choose. Anyways, thought i'd throw that info out there for you to think about.

 

Hey, right now i have tokico adjustable in the back and GAB super R shocks in the front. Springs are the racing beat springs all the way around. THey were fine for street use and a little soft for the track, but i just got 19's to put on the car and the springs are too soft, and the tires rub at very high speeds (100+), on hard corners, under hard accleration and when the car is overloaded (2 fat guys + their ****). One of the guys here in Charleston has the Eibach pro's on the stock R1 shocks and his car seems to respond less to pushing on it than mine, so i think i might switch to the Eibach's.

THe rubbing right now is on the rear, i haven't even put the front tires on yet, and the fenders are rolled.

BTW - i never made it no NC, ended up staying at home for some reason or another, not sure when i might be up that way, but if you're ever in the Charleston area let me know.

The only thing about the Eibach's is that i'd kinda like a staggerred setup like i have now with a little more drop in the rear than in the front ( the racing beat's drop it 3/4" front and 1.5" in the rear) I'd like about the same up front but a little less in the rear and of course a little stiffer both places.

 

I think the M2's are a 1.25 drop. They are stiffer than eibachs. I have a bunch in stock and can get the exact drop for you on Monday.

The pushing is the car fighting the weight of the 19 inch rims more than likely. Heavy unsprung weight is the bane of all cars and its going to be mighty hard to find a setup to balance out that extra unsprung weight over stock or even a 17 in rim. Your braking is going to take longer as well, not to mention slower acceleration.
