***Does anyone in So CALIFORNIA have a wideband and/or the datalogit 4 tuning a pfc?

I purchased a pfc from rx7store and xs a while back....put it on the vehicle..it was not tuned to my specs....tried to get on the dyno...xs moved and now the wait is two months .....it did not get tuned.

I need to find someone in the area with a wideband and the datalogit and a kind heart.

do you know anyone down in so cal with this setup?

Ive thrown down ten grand to get this car up to speed...its all together and I cant get it tuned. I so want to get on the new turbos and feel that boost. The motor is all broken in and Im ready.

I tried taking the pfc to xs today to have it retuned out of sheer frusteration....which they kindly did for free since they never tuned it right in the first place...but now it doesnt run worth a damn...it sputters and chugs and the idle is horrendously loping between 1000 and 3000 rpms. I parked the car. Im not driving it until I get help with a wideband and the datalogit.

until today it ran ok..just needed tuning to extract the power out of it. Its much worse after xs did the retune.

can someone in the area help me?

i am an artist and can do web work or design work or illustration in exchange if that is necessary.

check it

thanks guys...hopefully someone can help me.

Im tired of this tuning problem.

jason

ps..I already asked in the pfc forum

I really don't know but

...but, I guess it's at least worth a phone call.
Try http://www.zielmotorsports.com/ in Downey. I beleive they tune Porsche's but it couldn't hurt to ask. The dork that answers the phone used to work for Stillen and John K. is the owner but his english is limited. Oh, try PM'g RotaryKnight also.

I have a datalogit that I'm not using for a while... but no wideband. I'd be more than happy to lend it to you for tuning, just as long as you teach me everything u learn while tuning

Good luck with your tuning Jason. I know I'm never going through XS again after the "tune by mail" job they did on my R1 which had my timing so advanced Dave at KDR couldn't believe my engine hadn't blown.

With the datalogit and wideband, Dave tuned my FD perfectly--rich, but still making great power. It was the greatest feeling of relief to finally be tuned and be able to drop the hammer without any hesitation
