I'm gonna do my best here and list all the members who contributed. It's a little difficult since paypal just reads the persons real name. Raise your hand if I didnt call your name but I believe this is pretty damn close. Everyone on the forum should thank these guys for helping out as we'll soon have data on FD registration numbers state by state, something we've never had before.

A number of guys mentioned that they didnt think we could get this far, so getting this much money raised in a short time definitely shows that we have some dedication in the FD community. Especially since the original goal was $500, but we kept it rolling and got to $750 when we had to. Not bad for one week!

Look for the numbers by next week sometime. BTW, it will be hosted on the 3rd gen registry site next week so this will be data for everyone to see, not just people who contributed, just to make that clear.

Yes good job everyone, its good to see people coming together to find new info on these cars.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see the value of these cars rise based on the statistics that will be reviled with this data. Maybe not even based on what the market will bare, but the value the owners drive the cost to knowing they are getting harder to find, and your car could be one out of xxxx left.

I'll keep everyone updated. And like you said, I'm sure there were lots of other members who would have donated. They'll have their chance to do so since this went so smoothly. I'm sure we'll be doing this once or twice a year.

I'm guessing that getting this amount more than once per year may be optimistic, but, hey, I though it would take over a month to get this much.

I wonder if there is some sort of repeat option on this query? My guess is they will wrap up this query so that they can easily rerun it in future if someone else requests it. It may be a longshot, but it may be worth asking if they have some mechanism for charging a lower amount for later repeats of identical queries.
