$3000 rx7?

hey I have found a lot of FD's all in one Province that are all below 5000 and seem to be in perfect condition, one had 62,000km. Do they all have mechanical issues or could it be that its just very cheap.

which province, they are all probably rhd. FD's add up to a lot of money to get them running right reliably just something to keep in mind.

Sounds very cheap. You will likely get what you pay for with an FD.

Hell, at that price... I'd buy one and figure out how to get it to the States.

AB Cheap FDs

I'll confirm the $3,000 price tag. I currently have a 92 FD3S right hand drive car for sale here in Alberta for $3,000. A nice black straight R1 with low compression engine with feed/hks coil overs, bov, abs delete, looks like new suspension bushings.
Just deciding which way to go: rebuild engine and sell or just sell and let someone build the car of their dreams.

Should I know you lol. I picked up a 3000$ black Fd in spring in Edmonton Alberta. It ran but I wanted it to be like new so I'm rebuilding the engine as well. Just trying to figure out how many go fast parts are gonna end up in it when I'm done.

Was going to say, sounds too good to be true. At 3k I'd fly up there, buy another one and walk it back to south Canada er Minnesota if I had too.

3k for a lhd? Even if it was blown, i'd immediately go pick it up if it was real. Fix it, sell it, profit LOL. It's probably fake though.

You guys can check it out for your selves, autoteader.ca and make the search national, I figured there was no way it could be that cheap but there were a few for the 3 to 5 grand range so I wanted to ask if anyone has ever seen one

Interesting. I might look into it lol. The cheapest running lhd FD sold that I know about is was $5,500 and was because the mom want the car gone and the buyer noticed and low-balled to hell and mom accepted lol.

I do notice how they never show the rear license plate.

Probably a RHD for 3k. They are a dime a dozen in BC. Most likely the owners imported it and don't know how to deal with Rotaries. Pretty sweet deal though for a nice ride though.

i picked mine up for 6500$$ , rhd 93 , guy had it originally for 14000$...... for over a year , said money got tight and started to drastically drop the price till i guess i came along to buy it after watching it online for all that time

got a great running reliable mint condition FD with 72,000km on it the only real downside at the time was it was an automatic

I'd love to buy a LHD FD for that much....

I just think it'd be too much trouble to actually import one to be of any real resale benefit.
Of course, I have some spare cash laying around to probably do this, I just have other priorities to pay attention to, to give this any serious thought.

Can someone explain this to me in more detail ?
