What happened to the Gmonsen 3 rotor build thread

I have unbanned the account.
Unfortunately a former Admin here made a selfish and abhorrent decision to unilaterally delete all of gmonson's posts and ban his account. We did make attempts to recover the lost posts, but unfortunately what was done wasn't discovered within a timeframe that would make it possible to 'roll the site back' prior to the act.
We apologize, this was done by a rogue member of the Rotary community over what appears to be very personal reasons.
cheers,
robb

It is a shame all his posts were deleted, that seems a bit over the top to delete all that content, a lot of which was pretty informative. Threads Gordon posted in display odd now, extra pages you cannot access etc.
Always seemed like a top bloke and asset to the community to me

If you look around you'll see when he was banned all of his posts were removed and his account was all but deleted. Typically when someone is banned their posts stay, there are only slight hints of the existence of the "gmonsen" account and 0 posts. I don't know why any of this happened and I only know he was banned because he made a post on Facebook stating that he was banned.

Extreme measures such as deleting (hiding) all prior posts is a disservice to the community when it comes to archiving technical discussions!
This is why websites such as steemit.com and https://steemdb.com/forums have been gaining traction. These put your posts on a blockchain that can not be deleted or altered in anyway shape or form. You could even download the blockchain to have all the information on your local computer to search etc...

This is disappointing. I've NEVER seen anyone have ALL their posts deleted when banned. Something really strange about this situation. Hopefully a MOD or ADMIN can chime in about that. Not questioning a ban, but the wholesale deletion of all their posts is very suspicious.

Speedking,
Thanks for the confirmation.
All,
I had to reaffirm the forum's code of conduct and violations. This was taken from the "How We Handle Violations" section:
"The forum Administrators and Moderators retain the right to modify, edit, move, or delete any posts made on the forum by virtue of their position and in compliance with the aforementioned standards. Further, if you continually or repeatedly violate the rules of the forum, your account may be banned."
If it's been a while since anyone read the code of conduct then take a few minutes to review it., Simply hit the FAQ button then select User Conduct.
Cheers,
George

Adam,
I agree. For those who would like to know then follow this from the FAQ:
"We will not get into a debate with a "Ban-ee" or follower(s) of them, here or on other forums. If you would like to discuss the reasons for a ban you may email us at admin@rx7club.com Any threads opened to discuss/debate/complain about a user that was banned will be deleted, and the thread participants may find themselves also banned."
Cheers,
George

It would appear that my advice to use the email address, admin@rx7club.com does not work. I received an "Undeliverable" message from my mail server. Are there alternative email addresses to try? The "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the web page does allow messages to be sent however, my message would be too large for that delivery mechanism.
