What does this capped line go to ?

Hey guys I’m about to redo all the vacuum lines on my FD and saw this capped end. Is it suppose to be like this or did the previous owner do something half assed.

That second vacuum nipple is meant to be capped. It's just a spare in case you need it.

NADM FD’s (and earlier JDM models) weren’t equipped from the factory with a boost gauge. That’s a common vac/boost source for an aftermarket gauge.

Yep. I think Mazda put it there for a diagnostic boost/vacuum gauge for service work. Also makes it SUPER handy to hook up a boost gauge.
