Suddenly got the urge to start tinkering on the car again since I probably won't have my cluster back from Canada for quite some time. Ordered a alternator bracket, throttle cable brackets, and a starter jumper harness from Banzai Racing (up there with IRPerformance as my favorite places to order stuff)! Also ordered an upgraded BOV for my EFR 8374...the Kompact Shorty Dual Valve...from Turbo Smart. Good thing I decided to order it because the stock one in my EFR housing came apart when I removed it...can you say perfect timing?

What kind of car cover do you use? A generic one, or one specifically for the FD RX7?

ZE,
yep, I did the same. She’s been sitting like this for about a month now.

Manny,
I’ve had this cover since I picked up the car. My folks gave it to me as a Xmas present. It’s aftermarket but made specifically for the FD. I’ve only ever seen the official car cover for our cars once. I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed. I mean, it’ll cover the car and avoid getting any dust. But it’s not breathable nor does it feel like it could withstand any unexpected spillage onto the car (really thin material). It’s blue and has Mazda written on the front once you cover the car.
I’ve been super grateful for the car cover my folks gave me. It has stood the test of time.

For the BB I'm using a custom cover made for my MX-6 years ago, fits the FD quite well except the mirror part but it does the job for keeping dust out during winter. For the R1 I just use the OEM cover that came with the car.
