I am looking to get a spoiler, whale fin style... Anyone have an idea where I can pick up a "less expensive" one? Maybe a used one?

Also, I really want to spruce up my tail lights... I am not a "car fixer person" can do just about anything with good directions, any ideas?

 

i don't think they have any whale tail wings for the FC.


well, except maybe the BORDER wing but that thing looks like dirty butthole.

There is nothing in the market for out taillights but look up "Tail lights modernized" for a simple way to spruce up the lights.

 

if you have S4 tails,Upgrade to S5 tails,they Look Real good on the S4.As far as the Whale Tail Spoiler,Try www.andysautosport.com they have body Kits and Separate tails by numerous Manufacturers.Look at the Wangan wing or something by Erebuni(spelling ?)..I hope that helps you.

 

wangan does not = whale tail.

Andy's autosport did not have a single whale tail wing on the entire wing section. The closest thing was a wings west wing for the vert and that wasn't very "whale-tail-ish."

The SA/FBs had whaletails and like I said Border is the only place that you can still get whale tails from.

I'm not assuming anything, but giant spoilers and "spruced up tailights"?? Are you going for a show car or just your own style? Lets see pics of your rx7..please!!

if your looking for a head turning spoiler, that would deffinately do it.

but y not go the dodge stratus route and but the biggest fast and furious brand aluminum wing from auto zone(i belive its apc)

make shure 2 leave the stock spoiler mounts, or cover them duck tape, for the real head turner(not the good kind of double take)

lol... very funny ya'll... Im not going for that "pimped out" / "wannabe" look... Just want my "rear end" to be prettier and I am definitely a spoiler person. Nothing over the top, but add some excitement to the back of my rx.

hav't really done much to the car since I bought it except new tires... I need to re-tint the hatch because its nasty and sticky...

87 t-66 is right.... you need something that doesn't look worse than stock could possibly be on the car.

Yeah. I would say rims, paint + maybe mirrors. Then your car would be very clean looking.

 

either go with a stock GXL/TII wing or a sport wing. If you really want something bearable but still stylish I'd look into the RE-Amemiya spoilers (NOT THE RACING ONES).

Wings will come and go but grip will keep you on the road. Look at nice wide rims with a nice set of tires. Then do suspension and keep an eye out for good deals on wings in the for sale section.

I know you have this little ricer voice in your head screaming at you but you have to ignore it. For your own safety.

 

Or you can do like me + find the infini III stock wing. It's a bit bigger than the others, but still looks very clean

if you want ure car to look sweet get s5 tails (and harness), CF wangan wing, drop springs, 17" or 18" clean looking rims, and a s13 front lip painted flat black.

 

I don't know why people hate on the S4 taillights. They don't look bad and wasting 200 bux on taillights seems like a stupid way to waste money when your car hasn't been touched otherwise. To each his own but some of you have your priorities a tad askewed.
