yeah I didn't know at first that R12 is still available, it just costs a lot more and is harder to find. I've got a friend who is into old Rolls Royce's and he fills them with R12 and they work great, he just pays the $$.

Thankfully my car actually has factory R134a.

arghx, I had always thought our '94 had R-134A in it, but my Body/Electrical Manual in Section G calls out pressure checks for both R-12 and R-134A. Car was manufactured in Nov. '93, so I guess that was a transition period and we have the "old" stuff, as shown on the hood sticker.

I'll take a picture of his business card once I get a hold of one. He dose great work and will mostlikly talk your ear off and fill you with lot of useful information lol

Forgot to add more $$ into the overhaul:

Yoshi's invoice = $10278+
New 99-spec turbo system = $2560
OMP Lines (from Ray Crowe) = $114
R-12 recharge at radiator shop = $240

Total = $13,192
