Sock it to my fuel

I installed a supra TT fuel pump and it was insanely easy. But i didnt get a sock with the pump. I ordered one separately but it didnt fit right. I thought about trimming it to fit but its kinda tiny compared to the one in the tank. Is it ok to use the same old sock? Or should i order another and replace it asap. Also should i stick with the stock sock or i thought i seen like a box looking sock somewhere. It may have been an FC one. I just did the fuel filter as well. Also with the supra pump i got a bunch of extra stuff that i didnt use is this normal?

Lol i dont think so. The original stock tip is angled the new one is straight. Ill have to trim into the tip base to get it to clear. I tried forcing it on. Not happening.

I don't recall the angle making a difference.
