Side Mirror Differences RHD vs LHD

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the RHD and LHD mirrors? I need a set, and sometimes I see them offered as LHD/RHD and sometimes I see just RHD.

There is a difference. Not sure if it is the actual subtle shaping of the mirror housing and/or the curve of the mirror glass.

In any event people have remarked on the rear view being off when the wrong mirrora are attached.

It could ne that the passenger side of each is more wide-angle?

So you might be able to swap out the mirror glass.

(Removing will likely break the glass.)

Yes, there is regarding the mirror. The RHD mirrors will have the convex on the wrong side of the car. I say wrong side since I’m assuming we’re dealing with LHD vehicles here.

I assumed it would be really simple to swap out the glass portion. I was very wrong. I too bought Rhd mirrors thinking the glass would be easy to swap out of the ones I currently had since I wanted the mirrors repainted due to age. I bought Rhd mirrors, got them painted and then found out the glass would literally break into a million pieces if I attempted to remove them.
in the end I had to resell them and get my original mirrors painted in the off season. Lesson learned.

Can you just glue the replacement glass onto the existing glass, haha?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Much appreciated. Yes my car is LHD. I currently have a set of carbon mirrors on the doors now, but I want to go back to standard mirrors simply because I hate having to manually adjust the mirrors and miss motorized mirrors.
