^ Well, you are going to need to reach out to Kilo on this one. I have tried to find the connector in question but it doesn't seem to exist on my car anymore. Not surprised as everything under my hood is pretty much custom, including the wiring. So, with my limited expertise, we are out of the money here.

I suspect my wiring answer lies with the Haltech ECU. I vaguely recall back in the day when the car was at Gotham Racing in TX that we used an input from the pressure switch to trigger the AC on/off with the Haltech. But that was quite some time ago.

Wish I could help more.

Hi David, thank you for follow-up. I spoke with Jesus he said I can swing by anytime to finalize the setup. I am also running a haltech elite ecu. I managed to get the a/c to trigger the a/c. I just need to figure out how to hook up the pressure sensor so that I don't blow my a/c lines.

That is good to hear - Jesus will help resolve this. Post it up once you have the answer.

Looking for input on mounting and the lines for the RX-8 condenser. I'm thinking of cutting off the stock mounting tabs and doing custom brackets at the corners, mainly because the tabs go too far past the radiator and I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

Also, wondering about the pressure switch. I was thinking of using the RX-8 pressure switch but I guess I'll have to avoid that if it's four wires. I'd imagine there's some car out there that uses a two wire switch that can be repurposed for ours.

Wow! I just happen to run into this thread. I have a rotary extreme v-mount and no ac. Kilo built my car so I will ask him about the rx8 condenser with the microtech ecu. Besides it eliminating the need of a dryer what other benefits are there?

I like the RX-8 condenser because you can get a clean, practically stock looking system. The drier can be serviced without having to replace the condenser, and it's perfectly sized to our radiator. I got the condenser and mounted it and made the lines (they still need to be brazed/welded and crimped on new soft hoses). The write-up so far is below.

I just wanted to update this thread.

To recap I am running an RX8 condenser and a GREDDY V-MOUNT Kit. We also tested the fitment of this setup on a ROTARY WORKS V-MOUNT kit and it fits perfect. Regarding the RX8 pressure switch, I decided to ditch it as it had additional wires that were not needed and required more work to integrate it to the FD system. I was able to get my a/c charged a few weeks ago. The FD's A/C blows very COLD!

I ended up using the stock FD pressures switch. I lengthen the electrical wires and mounted the (PS) on the opposite side of the engine bay. I also had to rework the high-pressure line as the RX8 high-pressure line/setup (shown in the pic above) has a built-in High-pressure port where the PS switch is located. I will post pictures of the final product tomorrow.

I almost forgot to mention I am running a HALTECH ELITE which made it easier setting up the A/C Request.
