The statistics includes FDs registered as non operational. In California and many other states you cannot just stop registering a car for a few years and then register it again. You must list is as non operational and generally pay a very small annual fee.

In Texas you can (not by law, but by reality) drop it and only pay a fine/fee if you get a ticket for lack of registration (not happened yet). With no ticket, they just start up again w/ a years reg starting from when you reapply. Funny thing most people probable fail to registe to avoid insurance; where-as I pay for full liability and theft insurance on my Spec 7 cars that have not seen a public road in years and I pay my annual fee for a personal plate "RX-7 R2" even when I forget to Register and inspect the car.

Take a 93 from Oklahoma and add it to Texas as of tomorrow.
...then take that 93 in Texas and remove it from the US totals in one week...
...then add one more FD to the Norwegian population in a month...
Sorry to dissapoint but one less FD in the US doesn't make near as much difference as one more in Norway. Trust me, the norskis have never seen the likes of this FD I am bringing in. 93 touring with 9700 original miles. It's so cherry I couldn't even believe my eyes. The paint was in better condition than the 2007 BMW 335 I sold to get it. No joke. I can't wait to get it there.

I would be interested in getting a more updated one going and I believe we could get the donations together. I know that battery guy gave us some numbers, but I would like to have it broke down for us. I also feel some competition cuz I am a battery salesman....so his numbers are prolly flawed :P.
