So..with all the easily available lift products out there i started looking around for something that lifts a little higher , support more weight, and not break the bank.

theres 2 version , a short one and a very tall one.
the tall one i have seen in action from J-autos shop
very very sturdy but double the price of the regular 32" one
what are you guys take ? Few hundred more then your regular quickjack and you have a lift that goes 32" with a good rubber block itll go up to 33 ~34

 

Does look cool. Big thing I see is it doesn't seem as portable as the Quickjack, you put it where you want it and leave it. I do like the lift height.

Since you basically leave it there all the time you would be parking your car on top of it every time. It does look low enough that the car wouldn't scrape on it or anything.

That looks like a very nice piece, but my concern would be the limitations on getting around under the middle of the car due to the connecting bars.

I think it would be excellent otherwise, and the overall quality of build shown in the video looks superior to the Quickjack.

It is a little more expensive though, and shipping is not included unlike QJ, so the cost difference is really about $500-600 with shipping factored in.

FWIW, I received my Quickjack 5000EXT a couple of weeks ago (that I ordered last December...talk about backorder) and it really works well, just as described.

EDIT: I just looked at the specs for this, it's 1,100 pounds! No wonder it looks quality! The QJ setup is only about 200 pounds total!

For the price, it looks significantly more heavy/professional duty than the quickjack. It does look like it takes up a lot more garage space and you won't be able to throw it up on the wall when you're not using it or in the back of the truck to take it to the track with you though. The only other concern is the drive-on height is 4.3" so you may need to use ramps or something on either end if your car is really low.

 

Huh I ordered my 5000SLX and it arrived in under a week!

 

This is actually a reasonable scissor lift and doesn't require compressed air to undo the locks. And its German?!

 

Had a Blue Point of similar design, it failed and damn near crushed me.

Other issue is the lack of open space under the car with those cross bars.
