Petrolicious Article Feature

Recently had epic photos taken by ZoomZoom and submitted an article about my FD build and they decided to publish it! I figured I would share. Enjoy!

Beautiful looking FD. Very tasteful mod selection. Well done indeed!

I wish my engine bay looked that clean.

Excellent. I didn't know that CYM only came in R1.

Good lord your car is gorgeous! Engine bay is super clean, love the way you cleaned it up.

Tuck the fan relays behind the fender liner.

US Market CYM’s were all R1 which he states in the article. There were 100 Canadian CYM’s. All of which were base models.
Fun fact...

I actually had the fan relays tucked and hidden in the fender liner for a cleaner look. However, after driving the car in some rain during a 7's day cruise, 2 of the fans relays got wet and stopped working. My brother (fourtyounce) had warned me that he had the same issues in the past after tucking as well but I guess I had to experience it for myself to learn. I ended up buying new relays and putting them back in the oem location. I'm all for aesthetics but functionality takes priority. I don't like having to constantly worry if my fans working when I take the car out for a drive.

Uber clean. As one who personally loves details, there's a lot to love about your engine bay. Great choices, and well executed!

Thanks Jio. Getting compliments from the previous owner means a lot. Sometimes we never get to show the previous owner the final product of a build like with my Supra. I'm glad I did you proud! I heard you recently acquired one of the other Cyms you previously owned?
