Thanks man. I really wish I had the side steps on in this picture, then it really would've been perfect.

Full restoration on the car and now after a few months of trial and error she finally runs on the new rebuild and ecu. Just in time for a rainy summer.

Hood is from Shine and the fitment is indeed excellent. This is the Carbon Reinforced FRP hood. Two things to worth noting..
1. Where the hood pins are in the photo - the hood sat slightly raised in that area without them. But with the hood pins it's very flush.
2. The diameter of the hood striker was too large for the factory latch. When I test fit the hood, it took some force to get it to latch/close. When I pulled the release cable, the latch released but not all the way and the hood was stuck; I had to slip a screw driver inside the latch and pry the latching bolt off the striker. To fix it, I used my Dremel and a hand file to reduce the diameter of the striker. Closes and opens like a dream now. I doubt my experience is common since I've never read about someone else experiencing the issue and it's anyone's guess how many forum members have bought Shine hoods. But there you have it.

Nice hood! Are you able to retain the windshield washer nipples with it?

1995 Base VR w/ (7,100 original miles). Was installing a new passenger wiper arm and driver's side rocker panel spoiler, in case anyone notices.

Likewise! They definitely suit the car. The rears fill out the back pretty well without any roll of the fenders (would never modify the fenders on this car).
