Likewise! They definitely suit the car. The rears fill out the back pretty well without any roll of the fenders (would never modify the fenders on this car).
My rear end looks exactly the same but white. LOL <3 it!
Congrats on the purchase; paint looks incredible!!!
Also in good company i see with your other cars!
Thank you. Yes, the paint is in excellent condition, very minor swirl marks I took care of this afternoon. You can tell the previous owner really cared for the car.
And yes, my personal 90's Japanese holy trinity is complete!

I would love to see some pictures of your 3000GT VR-4. A very underrated JDM legend car that i'm glad you have in your collection!

You bet ! For some reason the 3000GT's just don't get any love. This is 1 of 287 VR-4's made in 1999 and 1 of 86 in Glacier White Pearl. She's stock with the exception of SS brake lines. Every time I see 3000GT in the wild I get excited but unfortunately most of them didn't fair to well.
Congrats @IMAGINETHAT ! I remember that same feeling when i got my FD too. I hate driving her because i'm adding mileage but i love driving her.. might be getting another FD soon enough that i can roll around in. LOL

The double edged sword of buying a low mile example is the "low mileage dilemma". I plan on keeping it forever so hopefully I can get over it.
And like you said - the other option is to buy another example to drive carefree, lol.
Here’s my 93 touring, the one that I was up against IMAGINETHAT in auction. Seems like you lucked out getting an R1 with the same mileage. Super jealous, plus you have the holy grail of VR-4’s as well.
I want to make this car more fun but it’s so hard to bring myself to hurt a low mileage stock car. That, and also I’m in college and any money spent on cars means more cup of noodles for dinner. The car is my father’s, but he’s a tad bigger than me and barely fits in it- I’m really the only one who drives it. He won’t let me spend my own money on the car, so I’ll have to wait til I can buy him out or I get my own. One day I want to have a higher mileage car that I don’t feel as bad for modifying and driving hard.

Anyways here’s a couple pics of the car
Beautiful car....I wouldn't say I "lucked out" as I paid significantly more for this car. If I could do it again I would have definitely gone higher in the BaT auction. That said I am happy with what I've got and money comes and goes.....
