The official 'My FD3S' picture thread. READ THE RULES!

Welcome back andrew! looks great!
"I wish people would care as much about body panel fitment as they do wheel fitment. CHECK YOUR GAPS!"
VERY subtle attack there RENESISFD....
But at least you dont hate the wheels and had to nitpick the fender, skirt, bumper fitment on a car built to drift.

I did read....
I did read
"still waiting on my fuel set up to get done to drive..
[/B]
That would mean that you are waiting for the fuel setup and then the car is driveable, no mention of the bumper not being bolted on, but judging by the rest of the panel gaps I am sure it won't be much closer than what it already is.
Anyway, I hope you actually get it driving as you have been posting progress pics for years now.

"i have 4 10mm bolts i have to torque to 23lb/ft attach my steering wheel, bolt my seat in with 4 17mm bolts at 40lbs/ft then i have to open my door, close my door, buckle my seat belt, take the key out of my pocket, put it in the ignition, press on the clutch, make sure its in neutral, turn the key."
In any case, this blue pile of **** has style, unlike the countless boring FDs this thread has to offer.
Those wheels aren't my favorite but Jaime pulled them off nicely
less talk more pics .... let the boring commence...

btw is she running again?
Lol all good. I see it like this. It will be a drift/track car. So why make everything super cherry and break it the first moment I dirt drop or or crash. If it was a show car then I would.be **** about everything . But to each their own. I'm more focused on getting it driveable since I drove it last year.
Part of what I don't understand is, you expect to destroy the body panels then why buy them and spend so much time and money switching wheel setups trying to get the right "fitment". wouldnt it be easier to just leave it alone if it is just a drift car. You obviously care how it looks (you spent a ton on aftermarket panels) so why not spend the extra time to make the panels fit right? To me it just makes the car look like **** simply because the panels don't line up. If they lined up the car would look much better. IMO.
As you said, to each their own.
what does it even matter, even if it aligned perfect you'd just find something else to nit pick, would you rather hear...

I dont really know what the rest of the drivel you typed means so I can not address it.
I hope so too, it is not like his car was in a magazine or anything.
