lololololololol " pretty sure its for drifters"

You're dumb lol

I haven't seen the FEED and RE-A cars drifting, and they have them.

The reason for these hooks is to make winching the car easier and prevent any damage to the bumpers as well since the ones the FD are pretty small.

Whats the the colors???? the bright color is to make it noticeable so certain tow drivers just don't go and hook on the wrong place.

+1

Thanks for explaining it better than I did.....

and ........ To be 100% honest , I DO NOT like the way they look on my FD, but since it has saved me 2 or 3 times already I figure it has EARNED the right to be on there..

Tow hooks should be through the hood of the car, not a spear sticking out the front of it. JMHO

I have a tow hook on the front and rear of mine because I've needed to be towed a couple times already and the last time it about ripped the passenger side oil cooler completely off the car, and it did damage it enough that I had to get a new one. So as far as I'm concerned, they're completely worth it. You can't really notice my front hook unless you look for it and you might not even notice the rear one either, but it's more noticeable than the front.

One question, what's the big silver thing covering your engine bay...? Never seen it on your car before. Lol

Ive always wanted to do that to mine and not because its fast but because it VERY low, so a tow hook thru the hood would make stuff pretty easy. Only problem is that I don't have the ball to make that cut on the hood. Maybe if I had an aftermarket one I would, but not on the OEM one.

That's why once I install my tow hooks, I will paint them with a bright *** or fluorescent so the tow driver knows!!!! ill even get some of those stickers with arrow shape saying TOW HERE so they know LOL

I'll put the tow hook arrows on the hood along with the "latch me dummy" stickers for my hood pins...lol but only on a track car. Not a street car that sees the track a couple times a year.

Since when is through the hood the proper place for a tow hook?!

I just got back from the Baltimore ALMS race, and advanced track event, and a vintage race, and don't recall seeing tow hook sticking out through somebody's hood. I certainly wouldn't do it to my car.

Are the 2x4s really needed for the lip to clear the garage floor? lol.

The concern is the tow hooks out the front of the car can act as a spear on cars that no longer have a lot of metal on their shells(CF doors and the like)

Well, I'm not seeing it as common practice in major racing series. And I hope I don't, it looks silly.

This, was, a Touring model, but has been converted to a manual, single turbo car, which SHOULD make about 450 BHP
