Here are a few pics I took today. I was test fitting my new FEED bumper I got from my roommate, so it's not bolted up everywhere it needs to be just yet and I don't have the turn signals in it yet. I kinda like it though. It doesn't exactly go with the Sanai sides but I don't think it's too bad. It's also a different color black but you can't really tell in these pics. And I have some work to do to get the hood to sit lower on the sides, it's bowing up for some reason. I also have plans to cut a vent for the new VMIC I'm planning, so the hood won't be painted for a while. I'm also pretty sure I have my oil burning issue tackled too, WOOHOO! Just in time for the new turbo lol.

 

And back home to verify I'm not burning oil anymore lol.


Every time I drive this car, it reminds me of why I love it so much.

Haha, hi Phil! We've met a couple times at montgomery ifo. This is Bill, the guy that bought Bob's old bb fd. Bryan introduced us a couple years ago if I recall correctly.

 

Actually I did not. Scott's are 18's I believe, these I bought new - 17's

 

I hate you. I was looking for RG-IIs forever but can never find them in the sizes or offsets I want. Good choice in wheels.

Yeah I'm hoping it's sorted out. Like I told you in the text, it's conditioned me to believe it will never be fixed, so I'm probably going for a mountain drive with another local FD owner today to verify it's good.

That rebar is something I noticed yesterday haha, so yeah that's getting sorted. But do I cut it or paint it black? lol

Thanks T! I love this hood more than the last one, and I've always loved this bumper. It's bittersweet that Simon is parting his car, but at least I get to reap some benefits haha. We're going for a drive today I think, if you're off work and wanna go.

I don't get off til 5:30, and my friend just got into town last night and am getting sushi with him when I'm off. You're more than welcome to join. Tomo at 6ish, but am down if its a night cruise. Sorry to be off topic, I'm stopping right now.

 

It was raining, but we still went down to check out the cars. I was surprised how many ridiculous cars (even a new Lambo Aventedor (sp?)) showed up!!! Check out their gallery. Me and a local gang of FD people drove down from the South Bay/LA area to check it out. Some one snapped a bunch of pics of our FD parade when we were leaving, check it out!

We had a bunch of people coming up to talk to us, a lot of 3rd gen lovers in the crowd! Lots of other cool cars that day, tons of Lambos, Carerra GT, MKIV supra, really really nice 300zx (Z32 I believe) turbo, couple of NSXs, tons of vintage cars, you name it.
