No heat issues 101°F ambient

Yesterday I found out that I can drive my car all summer long and not worry about overheating it. I left my house at 6 p.m. it was still a hundred and one degrees outside. According to my FC Commander engine temps stayed at or below 89 degrees Celsius. Underhood Temps got up to 55 degrees Celsius in the city. Any of you having issues with temperatures this year? Here's a picture of me posted up in downtown Beatrice.

Unfortunately once it's over 105 I tend not to drive it, which is pretty much all summer. I'm sure a large vented hood would help a ton. We're supposed to break records with 119 degrees this weekend, maybe I'll see how it does LOL

Some good info about the heat/altitude here:

I'm in Bellevue. Worked all last week and didn't get it out in the heat, but haven't had issues in the past either. It will bounce off 96 C. but Fluidyne, oil coolers, WI, fans and FC thermoswitch do their job from there.

I'm an idoit but I guess I'm smart because I found the issue. Bad grounds to the fans because I left them undone. I guess I know what those are now. I also added a 6ga wire ground to the front core support for extra grounding.
My car has a aftermarket radiator, FMIC, Sakebomb Garage dual race oil cooler setup, and a Power FC keeps it all bouncing from 86-89°C @101°F outside. Glad I can drive it again.

Do you still have the AC condensor? Vented hood or stock?

Ac deleted and yes vented hood. Just got a turbo blanket and wrapped the downpipe for cooler IAT's.

I've built several cars that were able to be driven aggressively in 100+ degree heat and with AC on! The key is a good vmount setup and proper ducting.

I removed the ac due to a bad install. I really want it. The previous owner had someone custom install the ac lines and it looked like **** and was in the way when working on the car. I'll put the account back in someday

Its really easy to get ac to work. If you have all good components at most its bending a couple lines.
