any better pics than the Kill boy shot? it makes it look awkward and like it hangs out too far behind the bumper compared to the Twin Z pics.
it wasn't quite mounted properly in those photos. I reinstalled it a while ago but didn't take any pictures of that and now my car is parked for the winter. The TwinZ pics are accurate on fitment. They just came out with some side canard add ons for this. I need to install my rear feed widebody before I decide if I want the additional pieces or not.
They just posted some images on their IG story that show the underside and the canards as mentioned by Venom. After seeing all these photos and the actual product (Albeit on a 300zx) they make a solid product. Looking forward to getting mine when I can save enough money =)

yeah I saw all their stuff a few weeks ago when googling diffusers for the FD, since I no longer sign into Instagram. But I don’t trust vendors photos of fitment. I’ve had some instances that I was not fun making things fit a car to my liking.

fitment on any aftermarket body panel will always be suspect since these cars are all over 20 years old now. The best fit will always be the one that the mold was made from. I can confirm the fitment is good on this diffuser though. I may have had to open up a hole or two on the mounts but nothing major.
Does anyone have any insight on installing this? I seem to have issues getting this to fit. I test fit the diffuser on the car, the leading edge holes where the diffuser mounts to the mudguard clips seems to be slightly off (the whole diffuser seems to be a few inches too thin for my car?). With the bumper mounted to the diffuser, the bumper flexes too far inward to remount onto the car.
Also, my exhaust(I'm told it's a racing beat dual tip that I bought this car with) has a an exhaust hanger that clashes with the exhaust port of the diffuser. I feel like I can trim the clearance away but I'm having a hard time imagining how I'm going to get a too thin of a diffuser to line up with my car, without just using brackets or something. I haven't done body modifications to this extent before so,in my naivete, I thought bolt on meant truly bolt-on.
I see many people having no issues with this installed so I'm curious to see if I'm just missing something.
Passenger side edge Driver's side edge Exhaust hanger clashes with diffuser
Been meaning to reply to this thread for a week or so. I recently purchased the diffuser along with the side pieces. I will echo along with others that it is very well made but like all fiberglass pieces I've come across, it's not perfect.
I have a Racing Beat single exhaust and the passenger side hanger hit, along with rubbing on the tip. I removed a bit to make them fit. I also had to elongate a few of the mounting holes. I've been documenting this on my Instagram page: azfdrx7
Thanks for the pictures guys, I went and trimmed the diffuser to clear my exhaust hanger and it still seems too narrow for my car. I'll have to contact Twin Z andsee what they suggest. I can't return it now since I've already trimmed it. Can you guys post pictures of the diffuser mounting to the mudguard holes?
I still haven't removed my bumper yet. It will be early spring before I do. HRBlenny (not sure I spelled that correctly) on IG has one he probably has a few photos posted on his account.
Looks better with the side add-ons I think. Somehow doesn't look as clean and flowing as the re-a street diffuser though? I wish there was a way to install the re-a street diffuser tidily without rear mud guards, that would be ideal for the look I'm after.
I just checked and these things are back ordered until May 2021
wow, they must be selling then. I really wish they would make one in Carbon Fiber. They are a nice piece though. I am happy with mine. I need to decide if I want to get the additional pieces. They didn't exist when I got mine in May 2018
Removing the bumper is the only way to have good access to the rear valence hardware.
I was able to get the valance off w/o dropping the bumper. It was a pain, but i was able to do it. (think i had to cut some of the hardware, but can't remember if it was an access issue or rust)

Hence the reason you should remove the bumper.
With the bumper off it is easy to access the hardware.
So, I love TWINZ stuff, had it on my 300ZX back in the day etc.. What I do not like about this diffuser is the curve. I understand the top has to have the smiley face curve to match the bumper, but I don't like its a smiley face on the bottom also. If they made a 2ns revision, and made the fins and such lower to the ground, and more squared off, I would buy.
Does it bolt on or do you need to drill into your bumper?
direct bolt on. You have to remove the plastic lip on the rear bumper and it uses those mounting holes in the back then in the front it attaches to the gas tank straps.
