New HKS coilovers from Banzai-Racing / Chris AND ABS Sensor replacement!

Hi Everyone, my name is Steve and I needed new shocks for my 93 Rx7 and found them at Banzai-Racing. Chris, who runs it is one of the nicest people I've met selling anything to do with cars in my almost 40 years of searching for MGB, E-type, midyear Vette, Boss 9, AC Cobra, Mopar, RX7, and others generous with his time and knowledge and no pressure at all to buy and then lightening service shipping, I just want to say how much I appreciate this guy. AND, when I called him and left a msg saying how happy I was to have the HKS's installed and how right he was about the simplicity and ease with which my local mechanic (and I was loathe to take my 7 to a local mechanic but my 7 mechanic has disappeared) was able to install them (so much so that the instruction booklet was still sealed when he gave it back to me!), Chris immediately called me back and asked what ELSE he'd given me back! Sure enough he'd failed to install a set of 4 NECESSARY bushings and 2 nuts without which the job would've been destroyed (and possibly me with it)! THANK YOU CHRIS!!!
My mechanic also broke my ABS sensor, so, anyone know the best place to buy one now that they are no longer available NOS???

That sucks about the local mechanic botching the "easy" install

You *should* still be able to buy the ABS sensors from Mazda, I just picked some up this past winter. They weren't cheap though

I'd give a guy named Ray Crowe a call. He owns FD's and used to by the parts manager for a Mazda dealership. The dealership went under but he retained his status with Mazda. The man is an ABSOLUTE wizard with rotary parts!

Here's Ray's email Ray Crowe <crowe.ray@aol.com>
He is the best source for OEM parts and gives us steep discounts.

Banzai is a great place

If you are in New Jersey, IR Performance is there, one of the top rotary shops in the country. Ihor will treat you right on anything you need.

Thanks again! Chris, at Banzai recommended I call him too. I did speak with Ray (great guy - realized I'd bout a dash speaker from him in B.C. time when he was still at Molloy!). He recommended a used one I found for $40 instead of $200 + NOS. So, we'll see what shows up and then I'll call Ihor (as per Dales recommend).

Thanks again, Steve
