ABS Sensor

Soo....I ripped off my ABS sensor on my front passesger side when I was installing coilovers.

I have one to replace it, but this thing isn't moving! I've been PB Blasting it for the last three days and then trying to wiggle it from side to side but nothing!

I literally just removed my stock twins on w/o issue, so this is driving me crazy! I attached a pic....am I doing the right thing moving this thing from side to side?

It is just supposed to pull straight out. It looks like your control arms were slathered in dealer-installed undercoating or some crap, that probably helped glue it in place.

Since the sensor is bad, you may want to remove the rotor and see if you can get a straight shot to the other side and use a hammer and punch to drive it out.

Yep, should just be the one bolt and it comes out.

Yep the ABS sensor has material on it that gets pinched when installed to hold it in place. Kind of a one time use, but not completely.

Since its broken, just have at it! Get a bigger hammer.

Also for reference, the best solvent I've found for getting things loose is a 50/50 mix of acetone and power steering fluid. Hasn't failed me yet.
