L1 and L2 correct

I was working on the RX7 today and needed to remove the coil pack. I noticed L1 and L2 were back to front. I swapped them over and the car ran exactly the same. Is this to be expected? Does it do a waste spark or something?

I should have been more specific. When I say back to front, I mean the lead going into the coil pack was marked as L1 but was going to the leading plug on the rear rotor. The lead from L2 on the coil pack was going to the leading plug on the front rotor.

The leadings run in a wasted spark configuration. They always fire twice/at the same time, once in the compression cycle on rotor A and exhaust cycle of rotor B and once in the exhaust cycle of rotor A and compression cycle of rotor B.
