How to check compression in a Rotary Engine and Dual Oil Cooler Install
Getting closer and closer to get the FD where I want it... I checked the compression using Steve Miracle's rotary compression tester and almost passed out because of the anxiety lol!
Also planning to have AC for the next season utilizing the RX-8 AC Compressor and condenser. In order to do that, decided to replaced the R2 oil coolers and route new PTFE lines to be able to install a V Mount setup.

you can reuse your intercooler for your vmount if you just flip it around. if you plan on keeping those same fans when you switch to vmount then youre going to have some clearance issues with those oil lines and thermostat. the bend radius on the ptfe line is much less than regular an otherwise the line that goes from cooler to cooler would work. you would be better off having the lines all route under the bumper instead of through the engine bay like that. much cleaner look and gives much more space. the thermostat can be mounted just in front of the sway bar mount either vertically or horizontally.
when you switch to v mount, pretty much everything you have in front of your motor is going to need to be moved
