dual oil coolers?

has anyone put dual oil coolers in thier car?
im thinking of changing front bumpers and going with dual coolers off to the sides.
I have a FMIC, AC, and thicker core Koyo radiator- cooler oil is essential to a rotary motor so dual coolers out in front all on thier own would not only cool the oil better, but I would imagine it would allow a little more airflow to the rest of the components.

I also know the stock oil cooler is pretty efficient so im wondering if any of this is even worth the hassle?

Stock cooler works great and surprisingly is over kill from the factory which makes it well suited when runnign more power. Unless you not having enough airflow through your heat exchangers, and you think theres room to run dual, I would'nt. Its more complex having MANY MANY more potentual areas for leaks (all those lines you'll have to run) and it'll be more weight, not to mention your adding weight further out from the cg of the car which will add more polar moment of inertia. Honestly, good ducting and a good rad are all you need.

I was just thinking along the lines of the FD oil coolers- and trying to get more airflow to the coolers themselves.

off chance of seeing if anyone might have actually done it and had some oil and underhood temps to go off.

As mentioned and as you can find from searching, the stock oil cooler is already way more than you'll ever need. Some people run dual for space reasons; b/c they need airflow to something else for example.
