Gonna work on klunks while deciding the twins fate

While I working on the the twins (1 died) single replacement I want to fix the klunks.
I can feel the trailing arm move but cant see it move, so I want to replace the pillow ball bushings and front trailing arm bushing.
I read allot of people use j-auto, so I thought I would get the 6 pillow ***** and 2 front trailing arm bushing from them about $415
My car does not go to the track so I just want good handling and quiet (as can be) .

The parts from j-auto should fit the bill I think.
Want to see if there are better suggestions before I buy.

You're solid there. Make sure you get the new dust boots that go with the pillow ball bushings, otherwise the new ones will be dead in a year.

Also this tool and some just-right-size sockets makes the job so much easier -

I think that tool or something similar may also be available at Autozone as a free tool rental. Not sure but worth looking into.

Thanks Dale
Does the tool from harbor freight make the job allot easier than just using sockets, washers, a bolt and a nut?

Definitely, you can rent a more complete set from Autozone. A press will also make the job easier if you have the space to keep it.

Yep, the bolts/washers method is more of a pain. With the right tool I can do the job about 30 minutes a side. Also take the whole arm off the car and swap them off the car, no sense fighting around with it half on the car. Also make sure to re-install the right way, you can install the arms upside-down - ask me how I know .

The arms your talking about are the track arms, right?
Not the components the pillow ***** go into.

As far as "take the arm off the car" I mean the parts the pillow ***** go into. Brain fart on the name of that component .

Also make sure you push the bushings out the proper direction. Ask me how I know.

There is a small lip that prevents the bushing from being pushed in too far. I didn't appreciate this and pushed the bushing through this.

I rented the kit from Autozone which made the whole process quick and effortless (minus).
