Currently up for bids on Buyee/YAJ atm. $500.

(Sorry kick plates are not interchangeable.)

Most of these parts are LHD compatable.

I was wondering if the idle air control valve for 1992-1995 LHD RX7 is interchangeable with 1996 RHD RX7 (i’ve seen some on ebay)
* Note : I’m pretty new to rotary’s and imports

I also wanted to ask where I can source rear brake rotors for the 1996 RHD RX7, I ordered 1995 rear brake pads (they fit) + rear rotors (but these did NOT fit, too small)

What are some good/reliable websites that I can source parts from? I got scammed from the “US ReAMEMIYA” LOL

The 1994 LHD USDM parts catalogue I have lists the following:

Chart Ref No. Part Number Part
20-660 N3A1-20-660 Valve, Idle Air Control
20-661 N3A1-20-661 Gasket, Valve

The Version 5 JDM Parts Catalogue (1998)
20-660 N3A1-20-660 Valve, Idle Air Control
20-661 N3A1-20-661 Gasket, Valve

The PN in both cases are the same.

Be mindful that the earlier gaskets appear to be some form of impregnated cardboard, but in th elater JDM they seem to be metal.

In either case, they are NLA.

So keep what you have, or grab what you find.

PM me your VIN and i can check the JDM epc.
Its not dangerous to share it in either case

ISC should be the same for all "Types" in all years.

"autocheck.jp" is also a good source for history of the car in Japan. Very good $35 spent.

2.) Center console pieces: The plastic oval that the leather around the shift **** staples into is reversed for example, the plastic trim surrounding the shift **** area looks like it should fit but doesn't, and the center console cover extends all the way to the rear seats in the USDM but only about halfway in the JDM.
3.) Wiper stalks on the steering wheel wouldn't fit I believe. They're mirrored.

Interchangeable:
1.) Headlight electric motors
2.) Headlight covers, surrounding black trim, etc. fits.
3.) Rotors & pads (assuming smaller brakes)
So, when replacing the shifter boot, is it LHD/RHD specific?

It wouldn't seem like it would be, but I have seen a couple places that have RHD ONLY shifter boots, and they are crazy expensive. While I am attempting to completely restore my 1992 Efini to original, I am not sure I can swallow spending $250 on a shifter boot! I may just have to get crafty.

The shape of the shifter boot ring is different and I suspect the boot is as well.

Used shifter panels come up often on Buyee and often have the shifter boots, ashtrays, switches, etc,

Not OEM but good enough until you can find one.

Question Front wheel spindles/knuckles & wheel speed sensors...

Are the front spindles/knuckles on an RHD interchangeable with LHD cars?
What about the wheel speed sensors?

When removing my spindles during some front-end suspension work, I had several seized bolts that broke off, even though I used days of Kroil and PB blaster soaking and heat application.
The wheel sensors also are not functioning right.

I would like to just swap them out with a set of RHD knuckles with wheel speed sensors that I found.

Compare the part numbers in the JDM and USDM parts catalogues. Generally the parts number in the JDM catalogue that start with the FD01 prefix are useable in LHD.

It is useful to download a USDM parts catalogue from somewhere and buy a used JDM parts catalogue for the corresponding year/model of your car.

Yep, I own all the USDM books and PDF's too.

Where can I get a JDM Parts book?

Usually there is an initial parts catalogue for as each new version is introduced. Then there may be 2~3 updates and then a final version. Parts may appear and disappear from the catalogue during the term of any particular version.
