Joe, you can either cut off the top few threads of your shift ****, or (better option) get the boot up a bit higher, a thick medium-length zip tie usually does the trick.

Can't help much with the e-brake handle unfortunately as I've never installed one of the MS pieces.

Thanks guys- Had to try it out. Quality piece, as all the First Molding parts are. (Had RHDJapan add it to their site.)
I'll probably be painting it black to match the paint, since the Vorschlag under diffuser has a larger weave pattern.

Definitely some of the best looking 17" setups for a street friendly FD. This set will be for sale at the beginning of 2016 with good tires, for a great price if anyone you know might be interested- shoot me a pm if so. Perfect offsets/sizing from Fikse for the factory fenders with fender lips intact.

Haha, I have a few... But those are kinda the boundary-pushing "show" set. ;D Not quite pot-hole friendly..
(I pm'd Goodfella, might do some sort of trade from 17" to 18" Fikse, who knows.)

Will have a front and rear BBK soon, just not sure on Fikse 17 inch fitment. This is the other set, (Discontinued in 1995 predecessor to the TE37)
New old stock never mounted Volk Racing Touring Evolution (TE) Fortesst's I found in Russia, 17 x 10 +40 all around, perfect for some road race tires:

I'm really surprised more people haven't taken this route honestly. I like the stock seats well enough and had a similar thing done a few years ago in with gradient Recaro cloth on the center cushions and black fade resistant suede on the bolsters/headrest.

Even had shift boot and e-brake boot done in the same cloth. Came out cool!

^ What you did is much different than throwing a seat cover on top of the original seat...

1992 MAZDASPEED lip spoiler. In 20 years around FD's I have never seen one of these other than in the catalog (and the book is quite rare itself) until I picked up this car.

RE AD9 Hood arrived today. Fits great.
Had to remove my torque dampener to clear the latch, & I'll have to re-do my intercooler piping if I want to use the rain guards (which I do).

Hood looks great man! Any chance you can post a pic or two of the rain guards? Many people have the Shine/Seibon hoods and the like, which don't usually come with rain guards. It'd be nice to see a working functional set and what it looks like, how it's designed etc.

Thanks!!

Hey care, yeah I think you're right. After I posted this with my phone I decided to look around on my work computer and found the same thing! They're $500 new apparently. Mine are in great shape, obviously need to be painted but they have no cracks or gouges. Prep for paint and ready to go, anyone in here who may be interested feel free to pm me. I'm going to make a for sale thread now.

Thanks!

Nick

Most rare parts should be somewhat old, only offered in a limited amount, have some sort of rotary history (ie used on Amemiya's GT car/ used on the 787/ signed/ etc..., custom parts can be included if it is something unique I suppose but putting a mugen exhst on your FD does not make it worthy of the thread.

That being said lets try and keep this thread to some really rare stuff so in the future it can be looked upon as a referance guide for rare parts. BOV's need not apply

"Quick edit" It seems that some parts that are rare in one place are not rare in another, such as 99 tail lights, Amemiya parts, etc...
So I guess all I can ask is that you guys use some discretion when choosing what you think is rare. Cheapo wheels, bov's, Home Depot lips do not qualify hehehe.
