every time I watch this video of the crispeed built silver FD it feels like the first time and where I wanted to get my silver FD to look like and one day run like.
never did find out who owned that FD and how it sits today but it is a sick FD in this video!

I have also always loved that video and that car! After that video came out (2004ish?) never, I really heard anything about that FD though....

Going off memory that was Crispeed's personal FD. He used to give a lot of very valuable information in the single turbo/drag racing sections and I believe he got tired of being questioned by some of the forum keyboard know it alls. Was making big power way before it was commonplace to do so.

ya, was waiting for water injection, then tuning, then paint 99 nose and put it on but it would have still sat due to too many kids and not enough seats.

That FD was local to S Florida. It was built and tuned by Crispeed and owned by someone else. It blew the motor and then was rebuilt and tuned by Lopez Racing. It then had more issues and the setup was changed again then retuned by Crispeed. The owner did not drive it much and last I heard he sold the car due to the last few issues and it went over seas.

NOT sure how true the sale/over seas part is as I haven't seen the owner or the FD in well over 3yrs. It was one of my favorites along with Directfreaks FB.

I loved DirectFreaks FB and wanted to do the same thing to mine. That was until some lady in a Ford Explorer blasted me from behind on the highway. Dream was killed with the death of my old FB.
