the place is called "el mirage dry lake bed" its about 12 sq/miles of dry hardpacked dirt. you can drift, burn out, or race. and not **** up your tread!

Why is the FD out there? wtf? its getting trashed by the cones and sand. you should be doing cool **** with the fd like drifting through one of those tornado's. remember the old FD commercials where the FD drifts through one of those dry lake beds right through those tornado's?

it didnt drive though a tornado noob! and yes it was my 2nd video i have made on premire. so it wasnt designed that well.

the fd was fine, its just like driving in a GIANT parking lot. but with some dirt....

no no no damnit. i said there was a sivler FD driving through a tornado in the FD comemrcial back in the early 90s. you guys shouldve done that.

it was a dust devil, and it woulda fucked up the paint job. those things are strong! i had to drive though one going back home cuz it was crossing the road. and in my 3900lb SUV going 80mph though it push it around quite a bit!

I pass by that lake bed nearly every weekend.

I didn't watch the vid since I'm at work, but if that's the same place, I've always thought of trying to get out there and tear **** up. Though, I hate my car getting dirty, so I probably wouldn't go out there...

They are pretty fun if you dont care about lots of dust and dirt. There are a few up here that they race those 3 wheel carts with sails on, forget what they are called, but they haul *** out there!
